Cookies......

These cookies are based on a traditional recipe. You can add anything to this recipe to give it some interesting flavour.

200g plain flour
150g caster sugar
140g unsalted butter
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 egg

Method 1. Pre heat the oven to 180 C, lightly grease two trays. Then pour the sugar and butter into a large bowl. Mix the butter and the sugar until fluffy mixture. Then in a separate bowl beat the egg and then pour in with the sugar and butter mix.

2. In another bowl mix flour and baking powder together softly. Then pour the flour and baking powder in with the other mixture.

 3. Mix into a sticky mixture (you may need to use your hands). Then put about a tablespoon of the mixture on the papered baking tray, press down softly  with your palm. Make sure each cookie mix bit is spread out as they will double in size. Repeat this action until no mixture remains in the bowl.
Leave both the trays in the oven for 8 mins then swap them around and leave them in for another 5 mins then leave out to cool for at least 5 mins. There you have it.

                                                                 Enjoy!

My Life in a blog

This blog is about my family, baking and school, everything I like. Me and my dad are the baking pros
In our family, we are always sharing our bakes with our family and friends and even teachers.
I am a Swedish girl who moved to Guildford when I was 7 years old now I am 11 and in year 6. I have two brothers and two amazing parents that look after me.
I came to England so my dad could work here, I was pretty upset when I was told because that would mean leaving all my friend back in Sweden. In year 4 I made lots of new friend thought I never forgot about my other best friend Lisa.

This is my blog about my life in England!
